Nessrin Taha
BIOGRAPHY
Professor Nessrin Taha is a Professor and Specialist in Endodontics at the Jordan University of Science and Technology, where she previously served as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry and Acting Head of the Department of Restorative Dentistry. She holds a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) in Endodontics and a PhD from the University of Melbourne, Australia, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS). She was awarded the prestigious Sutherland Prize by the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons for her outstanding performance in the FRACDS final examinations.
Professor Taha is internationally recognized for her research in the fields of vital pulp therapy, regenerative endodontics, and clinical outcomes in endodontics. Her work has contributed to international clinical practice guidelines published by the European Society of Endodontology (ESE), the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), and the International Association of Paediatric Dentistry (IAPD). She has authored 71 peer-reviewed scientific publications and two book chapters and has received several international awards, including the “Journal of Endodontics Honorary Mention Award for Clinical Research” (2024). In 2024 and 2025, she was ranked among the top 2% of scientists in the field of clinical dentistry by Stanford University and is a sought-after international speaker who has given guest lectures at major endodontic conferences worldwide.
