Agatha Gisler is a lawyer admitted to the bar in Germany. In addition to the traditional areas of law, she has already gained valuable experience in a number of exciting roles during her career: at the Federal Ministry of the Interior, where she dealt with legal issues relating to sport; at a law firm specialising in sports and media law; and at a well-known major German television broadcaster.

After successfully passing her second state law examination, her journey took her to her new home in 2015: Switzerland. Here, she practised as a lawyer for many years in various companies as legal counsel, where she was involved in a range of projects, including the introduction and implementation of EU directives such as the General Data Protection Regulation. She enjoyed this so much that, in 2021, she set up her own part-time business as a legal adviser. Through her Instagram channel “Agi Wee”, she reaches out to start-ups and the self-employed, offering advice on legal matters relating to their online businesses, social media presence, websites and marketing.

Her aim: to explain legal issues relating to social media and online business to entrepreneurs in a simple and accessible way. She focuses on relevant aspects of online business, such as social media, contracts and marketing. She has made it her mission to help entrepreneurs navigate the legal challenges of the digital age and focus on their business goals. She approaches the law differently – making it accessible and entertaining. With her unique approach, she proves that the law can actually be fun.
